Infiniti FX50 Vettel Edition is admitted to the conveyor

The news that Infiniti is ready to release a limited series of crossover FX50, dedicated to Sebastian Vettel, coincided with the news of his early championship. Most likely a random coincidence, but either way, IPL project is gaining momentum.

IPL - it's own tuning project by Infiniti, intended to become an analogue of AMG from Mercedes-Benz or M-series from BMW. Abbreviation decrypted as Infiniti Performance Line. However, the crossover FX50 in a special performance, which helped develop Sebastian Vettel, will hit the market not by this brand, as well as Vettel Edition, which is exactly under the name under which its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

A decision to issue the limited series of crossover confirmed vice president of Nissan Andy Palmer. According to him, FX50 Vettel Edition will be another demonstration of the possibilities of the Japanese in creation of exclusive cars, and after Vettel became the champion, the demand for this modification should grow sharply.

Infiniti FX50 Vettel Edition is equipped with aggressive body kit with carbon fiber components, lowered suspension, 5-liter V8 engine 420 hp, and also carbonic interior trim and steering wheel in the style of Formula 1.

About how much crossovers will be released and at what price, nothing is yet known.
